Jules Michael
Born: 10:01 pm – Friday, May 16th
Weight: 9 lbs, 10 ounces!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Length: 21 inches long
Apgars: 8/9
He is perfect. Beautiful. Heathly as an ox. Strong. Breastfeeding like mad. I'm so head over heals in love with him.
The quick story:
He was born via SUCCESSFUL VBAC after 38 hours of labor – 12 of those hours spent literally fighting (yelling/crying) with every member of hospital staff on the floor who all insisted on sectioning me because I wasn't delivering "fast enough" – that's a whole horrific-yet-triumphant story because I showed them! Fuck you St. Francis Hospital – FUUUUUCK YOU!!!! MY UTERUS DOES WORK!!!! I'll write all about that later. Suffice to say no one there will ever forget me, and I'm sure they're probably feeling pretty ashamed of themselves right now. I, however, have never been more proud of anything in my entire life, and this success is really helping to heal the emotional damage inflicted on me during my first birth experience.
I'll write the whole story and upload a billion more pictures later. Right now the gigantic baby wants to eat again!!!!
I’ve been waiting for a post! Woot!
Beautiful boy. So you’re home?

Who said being a bitch is a bad thing? Hell, it seems that you got everything you wanted and even if you had to fight to get it, YOU DID IT. Next time (if there is a next time…) NEVER go back to that hospital (or any, for that matter) EVER again!!!
Congrats. YOU did it!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so glad you got your VBAC—and showed the hospital who is boss. He is gorgeous! I cannot wait to hear the details! Enjoy your beautiful baby boy.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I’ve been away from the computer for a while, so I just got to check today for the first time. GREAT news. I’m so happy for you. It sucks that the hospital treated you that way, but yay to you for fighting for yourself and your family. Way to go! What a cutie! Love the chubby cheeks.

SMILE. People do really care about YOU! The proof of this can be seen above this post.

Hello! Congrats on your new baby boy! I’ve been loving reading your blog and for whatever reason I haven’t seen a post from you since baby’s birth. The story of the birth was removed and my computer doesn’t show any news ones since. I hope everything is ok and I look forward to future posts!
