Last week I got nostalgic for my rocker days, so I decided to upload some various videos of my former self. I think I’ll post one video each week for the next few weeks until I run out. This week’s video is a clip from the documentary called “Guitar”, which I was featured in 5 years ago. Also in this doc are the band Disturbed, members of Santana, and Throwndown (plus many more.) In retrospect, I think I sound silly, but this was before my college-level public speaking courses, so I’m not going to be too hard on myself. Besides, how many people have been featured in a documentary?
I was also the ONLY woman featured in this entire hour-long special, which is both badass, and terribly sad at the same time.
(be warned this is a high quality video file, so it may take a minute to load. If it’s hiccuping, pause it, let it finish loading, then start it again.)
Enjoy!

I think my head would fall off if I tried to rock it like that today.

So neat to see you in your (old?) element. Inspiring on an entirely different level! My daughters are starting to fall in love with the guitar. Their dad plays (a bit) and he lets them strum for him while he plays the frets. My five year old is already dreaming of lessons!
